A Brief History on how we got to the DMX-ELF:

After I broke my DMXCAT, I found that they are now $750RRP…. which is just insane!

So, made me start looking into other RDM/LX tools…

There are a lot of options now, so we sampled the Elf, and I found it to have some better features than the DMXCAT…

The DMX-Cat is still a little faster in RDM discovery, and has a slightly faster response time in displaying DMX values… but none of these features is worth $500 additional dollarydoo’s.

It also offers cable testing features which can’t be done on a cat - test continuity on a 5pin cable.

Along with a lot of the other features CAT does too.

Give it a go, save yourself a heap of $$$ to use on other useful shit.

We don't endorse many products, but i think the ELF is worth the investment.

Yes, it is a cheaper version of the DMX-Cat, but we find it to be so similar, that it's worth vouching for.
